In His Majesty's Service!
When a Company employs you, that company will want to see in you, the potential that shows that you will be of use to its growth. If a certain potential is lacking in you, you will be sent for personal development courses to upgrade yourself and you will be given tasks to fulfill, in order to help with the advancement and growth of that Company.
We who are adopted sons and daughters of Father God and co-heirs with Christ Jesus, are workers in God's Kingdom. We are to advance His Kingdom and tell the world the Good News that Jesus is LORD and through Him we have Redemption and Salvation.
How do we do it? By our words and actions. Before that our thoughts must be aligned with God's perspectives or else our words and actions will not 'Tell the Good News'!
In this world, any Company will not employ anyone who is not qualified or even one who is less qualified for that job.
In God's Kingdom the only qualification needed is 'to have accepted Jesus Christ as one's Lord and Saviour'.
Unlike the Companies of this world, God does not reject anyone who comes to Him through Jesus. Everyone of us who has truly accepted Jesus as our personal Lord and Saviour is employed by God the Creator of the entire Universe. God does not care whether we are capable or incapable, strong or weak, rich or poor, cripple or blind, able or unable, a success or a failure. All He is looking for is one with a willing heart and a humble submissive spirit. Our able God then prepares us for the task. He helps our thoughts, words and actions be aligned to His holy will by transforming us.
Like the Companies of this world, God too sends us for 'personal development courses' to be up to date and perform well in our service to Him! This is how He does it. The Holy Spirit Who dwells in us, deals with each one of us personally, by guiding us.
Companies of this world usually sack a person who under-performs. Unlike them,
God in His mercy, disciplines shapes, chisels and moulds us His children until Christ is formed in us. We each are transformed in unique ways. Even while we undergo transformation He enables us by His Spirit to advance His Kingdom and to make Jesus known, loved and accepted.
In this world it is prestigious to be known as the personal secretary of the President or Prime Minister of a country.
Are we not even more privileged in His Majesty's service? Each one of us is engaged by Father God and taught and groomed by the Holy Spirit, God's own Spirit to be His personal secretary to shine the light of Christ and advance His Kingdom here on earth.
Let us examine our ways and our every thought and word and repent quickly and abide in Jesus our Vine, daily.
Let us not be afraid of what the world will say or think, or be afraid of persecutions or trials that life brings us.
Let us be humble and obey God's Word and submit to His correction and discipline without complaining or grumbling, so that when we come out from under the refining holy fire, we will shine like gold and shine the light of Christ Jesus for all the world to see and glorify God.
Let us go forth and not rest until our every thought, word and action preaches the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Let us march on and not look back until we are met with these words of Christ, "Welcome home My good and faithful servant, you have successfully completed the task set before you. You have earned your crown!" (1 Cor 9:25; 1 Pet 5:2-4; Rev 2:10)
Let us never forget a moment that we are in His Majesty's service, each performing our unique task, thus complementing one another in Christ's body.
Let us consciously do our best every single moment with the help of the Holy Spirit and receive our P.B. (Performance Bonus) in heaven.
